Mohawk Enhances 2014 Partnership with Operation Finally Home

DALLAS, Tx. January 9, 2014— Mohawk is pleased to announce the company’s largest commitment to date with Operation Finally Home, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing custom-built, mortgage-free homes for wounded and disabled veterans. The company recently committed to donating flooring for 30 homes in 2014. As a result, Mohawk will be named the exclusive national flooring provider of Operation Finally Home. (more)

Mohawk and Daltile Partner as Exclusive Flooring Suppliers for the 2014 New American Home

LAS VEGAS, Nv. February 4, 2014—Mohawk and its sister brand Daltile will again be the exclusive suppliers of flooring for The New American Home® (TNAH), which will be a focal point of the 2014 NAHB International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas February 4 – 6. Over 3000 square feet of Mohawk carpet and hardwood as well as Daltile’s tile and natural stone will be used throughout TNAH. (more)

SmartStrand Named Official Carpet of Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl X

LAS VEGAS, Nv. February 4, 2014 – Mohawk has officially launched its 2014 national campaign, SmartStrand Unleashed, with Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl X, which aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Millions of viewers tuned in to watch the all-star cast of canine contestants compete on the grand gridiron of Animal Planet Stadium. As the official carpet sponsor, Mohawk promoted its SmartStrand carpet on air, at the week-long Puppy Bowl Experience event in New York and through its social media channels. (more)

Carpet One Floor & Home and Mohawk Remember 9/11 by Bringing Hope to Injured Service Members

CALHOUN, Ga. (March 5, 2014) — Carpet One Floor & Home members and Mohawk employees recently experienced the country’s only 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit at two separate events hosted by the companies. The exhibit is comprised of historic artifacts donated by firehouses throughout New York City and was created by the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. (more)

Mohawk's License to Spill Campaign a Finalist for Prestigious Sabre Public Relations Award

CALHOUN, Ga. April 30, 2014— The SABRE organization— the world's largest awards competition for the public relations industry— recently announced the finalists for its annual SABRE Awards to celebrate PR campaigns that demonstrate the highest levels of creativity, integrity and effectiveness. Mohawk has been named a finalist in the Home and Furnishings category for its License to Spill campaign, an interactive coast-to-coast tour in collaboration with the nationally syndicated The Better Show.
